aipt Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026 · Last updated: October 30, 2026

aipt is an AI-assisted workout app for adults, made by an independent developer in the United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the aipt Android app and this website, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

If you live in Washington State or Nevada, also read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. It applies to your health data in addition to this policy.

Location. If you allow it, the app uses your phone's location while it is open, never in the background, to recognize your saved places. This happens on your phone; we do not store your location or send it to the AI provider. When you search for a place, your approximate location may be sent to Google (see section 4). Location is optional.

What we do not collect: audio recordings, your contacts, photos, a history of your location, advertising IDs, or data from other apps or fitness trackers.

2. How we use it

We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or to build profiles for anyone other than you.

3. Speech

If you speak to the app, your phone turns your speech into text on the phone itself. The audio is never sent to us or stored; only the text is used as described here. Anything said near your phone while the app is listening may be transcribed.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers below, who process it for us, and only as needed to run aipt.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of aipt (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data or you will be told first).

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Anthropic's handling. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic does not train its models on our API inputs or outputs and automatically deletes them within 30 days. If Anthropic's automated safety systems flag a conversation as violating its usage policy, Anthropic may keep that conversation for up to 2 years (and its safety scores for up to 7 years).

Links you open. Some links in the app open other websites; their privacy policies apply.

5. How long we keep it

DataKept
Account, profile, places, workouts, conversations, feedbackUntil you delete them or your account
AI usage and performance recordsUntil you delete your account
Database backupsOverwritten within 7 days; a deleted account disappears from backups when they roll over
Anthropic's copyUp to 30 days (up to 2 years if flagged by Anthropic's safety systems)
Server logsUp to 7 days; they record request metadata, not what you said
Copy on your phoneUntil you sign out, delete your account in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall

If we must keep something longer (for example a record that you asked us to delete your data, or data needed for a legal claim), we keep only that and only as long as needed.

6. Your choices and rights

We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we honor the requests above for every user regardless of state.

7. Deleting your account

Deleting your account permanently removes your account, profile, health answers, places, workouts, conversations, feedback and usage records from our database right away, and from backups when they roll over (within 7 days). It also clears the copy on the phone you delete from. Anthropic's copy of recent conversations expires on its own within 30 days. Details: Delete your account.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting provider. Each user's rows in the database are protected by access rules so only that user can read them. The AI provider's key is held only on our server. Your sign-in token is stored in your phone's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires, including under the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule.

9. Age limit

aipt is only for people 18 and older. Before you can use the app, it asks you to confirm you are 18 or older; if you say you are under 18, it signs you out. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we delete it. If you believe a minor is using aipt, contact livemorescrollless@gmail.com.

10. Where data is processed

We and our providers are in the United States. If you use aipt from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change affects how we use or share health data, or adds a new recipient, we will ask for your consent in the app before it applies to you.
